Use cases
The shortcut can be used in two scenarios - either with one person giving the vaccination and another creating the account, or with the billing provider giving the vaccination. In the first case, the following assumptions are made:
- The vaccination appointments are booked in a separate appointment column to the billing provider. For instance, a separate column named "influenza vaccination" is used
- The billing provider is not the person that delivers the vaccination to the patient
- The vaccination is given by the person logged into the best practice account and is using the first macro
- The billing provider also needs to document notes to identify that the vaccination was given. This is done under the providers own Best Practice login and then the account is created under that provider - this is the second macro
- The appointment is bulk billed
In the second case, the following assumptions are made:
- The vaccination appointments are booked in a separate appointment column to the billing provider. For instance, a separate column named influenza vaccination is used
- The billing provider is the person that delivers the vaccination to the patient
- The appointment is bulk billed
